As we enter the city of Heraklion we do our first stop in the Venetian fort of Koules where we admire the view of the marina and the old Venetian port which is a great spot for some photos. Entering inside the fort of Koules will give you the chills as you can experience the historical events of the city through interactive scenes inside the fort. After that we walk through the city of Heraklion where you can spot a lot of historical buildings and monuments. Inside the city you will be left to walk around the traditional old market where you can buy gifts, souvenirs and traditional products.
